As we age the fibres in our skin (collagen and elastin) weaken - resulting in loose, fragile skin that wrinkles and sags. The Thread Lift counters this with the insertion of fine, biodegradable threads that support the skin. These threads lift, firm and sculpt the face to give you a refreshed, youthful appearance.

The doctor applies the thread beneath the skin in a formation that best suits your face shape and expectations from treatment. Multiple threads can be used to enhance the effect.

Over time the thread will be reabsorbed back into the body, at which point you can choose whether to have new threads applied or allow your skin to return to its condition pre-treatment.

Biodegradable thread is used to gently pull the skin upwards while simultaneously stimulating collagen production, furthering the improvement to ageing skin even after the treatment is complete.
